LinkCode is the Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) solution from L&C that integrates the world’s largest clinical ontology with sophisticated algorithms for linguistic analysis, to calculate E/M codes from physicians’ notes.

LinkCode processes typed or dictated documents, or even parts of them, in seconds and outputs accurate and reliable codes. Full audit trails are created and displayed for each code, including explanations of Level of Service assessed for single E/M criteria. The user can backtrack to the original information in the text in one click. In addition, ICD-9 codes are assigned to relevant clinical findings and to the problem addressed during the visit. By leveraging the ontology every clinical information can be automatically mapped into existing medical terminologies (SNOMED-CT®, Medcin®  and more ) and other coding systems (ICD-10, Loinc and more) for full data interoperability.
